So recently, I've come to realize that I'm extremely competitive when it comes to girls. Looking back in the situation where there was potential competition, it seems that I've spent all my time and energy trying to figure out strategies to win instead of doing anything and having fun. On one hand I think this degree of competitiveness is a little too much since it's actually disruptive to myself in a scenario, but on the other hand if I just back off whenever there are competitions, then it wouldn't serve my interests very well.. To what degree is it justified to be competitive? And if I was in such a situation where there are obstacles what should be the appropriate approach?
