I had to learn the hard way, keeping a woman requires constant effort, and never stop socializing!

I have been doing "seduction" for years (6-7 years in the making), way back when David D was making his mark on the pickup community. I had just started high school when he became popular and I wanted to be great with girls. I was lucky to have a unique look/style (which has since vanished, so I have to come up with another) and naturally flirty. I learned how to be cocky funny and that, combined with my natural playfulness, turned me into a guy where I never had to try to have girls. I always had a girlfriend, always had the hottest girl, lead my group of friends, I was the shit. There was even really popular/attractive girls way outside of my friends circle hitting on me and giving my girlfriend death stares in my last year of high school. Here is where my story takes a turn.

I got into a long term relationship, I was still the shit, I had so many options, it was great. My girlfriend and I were madly in-love. Then I started college... I didn't know anyone in college, but that didn't matter, I had my buddies and this gorgeous incredible girl. I decided I would wait and make new friends when I go to university. So there I was, 2 years into college with no new friends. I still had good body language, still confident, still playful and cocky funny, but only with my girlfriend, and that just happened less and less. I decided I didn't need to hang out with any other girls, I was dedicated to this one. That was a huge fucking mistake... So me and my girlfriend got engaged, stayed that way for over a year, and got married last summer. Right after we got married, things started to turn to shit. (keep in mind this is a recent event for me) I was complacent as hell, I didn't do much because in my mind I was the shit, but I sure as hell wasn't acting like it... I never did anything, or went out with people. I would always stay home and play video games, hangout with my two best friends semi-rarely, and do school/work. Holy shit, that is some lame ass shit! She loses all attraction for me, which made me feel the same about her, she still loves me (I mean how can anyone that knows me not love me, I'm a great guy! Haha), but I had no passion in our relationship, I didn't even care about sex really, I knew I wanted it, but I wasn't passionate about it. Honestly, I would say sex was the same as me just masturbating using a human. It wasn't THAT bad, but it was uneventful.

So here I am, just starting university, out of the game completely for 2.5 years, just lost an incredible girl, and coming off a failed marriage. I am in a terrible state of mind, but I need to make friends, that was my goal! I am forced to do cold approaches, something I'm not used to. Even though I felt like shit, I always smile and act confident. Now, I feel that way, I'm becoming centered again. It's incredibly interesting to be back in the game and completely suck at cold approaches. I have had some successes, many learning experiences [neutral interactions], and two failures (yes, I remember them specifically). Now, I'm just meeting people and having fun while practicing!

I'm relaying my story to send out a message. Never stop playing the game, never get complacent, never think you are too good to learn.

Newbies, get out there and practice, practice, practice. You WILL notice your game get better. The best pickup artists in the world are the ones that never stop playing and are always learning and testing the waters. Be that guy. Don't be me, and think you're fucking awesome and don't need to try anymore because you read David D and have a super hot girlfriend.

TD;DR: I was great with women, then I fucked it up. Getting back into things takes work and practice!
