Why is it that almost everyone on this subreddit wants you to treat women as 'HUMAN BEINGS', but then you also need to have 'GAME' to woo them or escalate situations. I mean how can you be in both frame of minds at the same time?

I'm kind of a very serious and logical guy (I can be funny though but i usually feel that i just try hard to be funny), when I talk serious shit with women they don't want anything to do with me!! (Well, that's when I'm being myself and treating them as a human being)

Other times, i put them on a pedestal(I mean you need to!) And just try hard to be funny especially when in a group i try to roast other people so that I could make them laugh.

Now get this, going with the second situation, i can be funny yeah! I can make them laugh, But it all happens in groups. As soon as I get an opportunity for a 1 on 1 Convo i fuck it up cuz I'm not that funny guy everytime and i feel if i remotely start having any serious or logical conversation with the chicks 1 on 1 (the same ones that were laughing at my jokes in a group) i feel they get turned off and don't listen intently or are just simply not interested anymore cuz hey I'm not that funny guy anymore. I also feel that even I'm not able to emphasize my points very well in 1 to 1 convos cuz I feel that pressure that i need to make her laugh constantly to keep her engaged. Sometimes I also feel that i don't even have anything to say and then there's just awkward silence..

How do I deal with this situation? I kinda wannabe one of those guys who always know how the press the right buttons...but then again, isn't it kind of hypocritical that you treat them as normal humans but then you also need to have a plan?!
