Hey guys

I'm seeing a lot of mixed perspectives on openers and whether or not to be direct or indirect. Mark Manson talks about polarizing and starting off with a "hey, I thought you looked beautiful" is a good way to go because it will move her to either receptive or un-receptive. Todd V. however says that indirect is the way to go but then I watch some of his infield and he starts off with a "Hey, I thought you looked adorable and I wanted to talk to you."

I'm generalizing a lot of stuff obviously but I am generally confused, it also doesn't help that people say that what you say doesn't really matter and that ~93% of communication is non-verbal, and as long you don't super fuck up you should be good.
