The key to conversation is having a lot to talk about and knowing how to CALIBRATE. It's hard to tell you what to talk about because everyone reacts differently to different topics. The more important thing is to be able to gauge when the topic is interesting and when it is not. When it is interesting, continue with it, when it is not, move to another topic. First of all, you shouldn't be having these conversations with her unless you're on a date with her (officially recognized as a date by both of you). She doesn't deserve your attention/time/conversation if she isn't willing to give you even that minimum amount of commitment.

Here are some topics that I've noticed that seems to pique the interest of girls:

1- What is your relationship with your friends? Who are your best friends? Girls usually have drama with their friends they need to share.

2- Her views on God/sprituality - be careful with this one. Basically just let her talk and don't challenge her - you're not going to change her mind.

3- What do you WANT to do with your life? What city do you want to live in?

4- Do you do anything creative?

5- What are your views on sex/morality. Once again, don't get too creepy or thirsty-sounding here, and change the subject to something else quickly so you don't seem like some creep that's just sitting there thinking about wanting to bang her. I find the best stories are stories about other people's sexual adventures. I also like to tell stories about my penis (i.e., in high school I used to show it to a lot of people).
