Overall thoughts on Chinese women

This country is not a pussy paradise.

If you want to fly in and bang, we all know there are places in Asia that this is possible - China is not one of them. Many of the girls are very conservative and not open to the idea of casual sex.

Your entire conception of game and how you interact with women is likely going to need alteration. They will be looking at you and thinking, is this guy telling the truth? Is he going to treat me with kindness? Is he safe to be around?

Of course, easy roots exist in China, but I would say a vast majority of Chinese girls are looking for a boyfriend that will eventually become a husband. They are also going to be more dedicated to their parents than they ever will be to you.

KEEP THIS IN MIND IF YOU BED A CHINESE WOMAN.

Many expect to be married in their 20s. And this will not be discussed with you, it will be assumed once you are boyfriend and girlfriend - and the fact that you're boyfriend and girlfriend will be assumed once it suits her. Do not underestimate how machiavellian Chinese women can be. In a society where 25 years old is considered past due, girls will do all sorts of things to lock in a husband - regardless of who the individual man happens to be.

This is not always implied pressure, it's often directly applied by their parents who will ask them "do you have a boyfriend?" every week.

Some guys I met while living here ended up marrying the first girl that looked at them and didn't turn away. 10 years later, they're still an English teacher only now they're living with their hag of a wife and both her parents in the same cramped apartment.

So if you're looking to date short term, you'll need to walk a fine line between being sweet enough to get her attention but being firm enough to let her know you're not going to be around forever. This can be a hard balance to strike and really just takes practice.

You'll need to have some Mandarin to get decent quality girls here. English alone you'll get by, but you'll restrict yourself from a ton of opportunity.

Thoughts on places I've been to and the women I've encountered

Chengdu:

My base of operations while I lived there. Highly recommended.

Wonderful place, full of life, unlike any other Chinese city. In the time I spent there I've seen it move from a southwestern backwater to something resembling a modern city. People are laidback, love to eat, drink, play some mahjong and generally enjoy life more than people in larger cities. This is a big reason I like it here, life is a lot slower and the people know how to have fun. This suits my laid back temperament perfectly.

The women are interesting: sweet and demure but if you cross you cross them you will need to leave town or find a convincing disguise. I worked with a guy who broke up with a girl for some reason, she turned up to our work the next day and started screaming, smashed a window and threw a Christmas tree down the stairs. We worked at a university and this was in full view of about 50 students.

That said, they can be very feminine and an absolute joy to date. Really, really sweet girls are easy to find here.

Tongzilin is the expat hangout, there are some good bars there but honestly I never went there to chase tail. In my experience the few girls in these places go there just to meet foreigners and they get more attention than they know what to do with. This is more a place you go if you're living here and want a little taste of home.

I had my best luck going to the Shamrock bar in Wuhou district, getting a pint by myself and just hitting as many women on Wechat people nearby as I possibly could. Knowing some Mandarin helps, I got tons of leads this way. One time I met a divorced doctor who was at KTV with her workmates, we met, had a gin and tonic and shagged in the bushes behind another pub all within 30 minutes.

For something more respectable you should go to Lan Kwai Fong, there are also some good bars at Taikoo Li, I really really really liked this place:

Not a place to pick up but if you have a good crew it's a great place to kill a few hours. You'd start your evening here then go to LKF, or if you're a degenerate like me you just drink tins in your apartment, then hit up the Shamrock and try to shag a random lass in an alley.

I don't know if Jellyfish bar is still open. But if you want a quick bang, that's the place to go. They are all laowai hunters there. But you will probably walk out with the clap.

A notable Chengdu story: my workplace was in the boonies and all the old stores were getting knocked down in favour of apartment buildings. Except one store, where the owner was holding out for more money. Guess they weren't getting it, one day I'm walking to work with a colleague and see an old lady getting dragged out by her hair by some massive goon while 4 of his pals guard the entrance to the place. He throws her to the ground, stomps her. My idiot colleague runs over to see if she's ok and the cunt gets in his face, tells him in Mandarin he should mind his own business. I didn't feel like getting hit with a tyre iron so I grabbed my mate and got the fuck outta there.

Before the week was over, the shop was gone and construction had begun. China's development can be explained through millions of similar stories.

Chongqing:

Undoubtedly the best females in China, possibly all of Asia in my opinion. It's very hilly so they all have amazing legs. Tall, leggy, pale Asians are exactly what puts fizz in my jizz so I was walking around erect basically 100% of the time.

Definitely don't live here. It's small and regional, so there will be less available to you than if you choose to live elsewhere. My recommendation would be to live in Chengdu and take trips in to Chongqing whenever you please, I would ride the high speed rail in on a Friday afternoon and stay for the weekend. It takes a couple of hours and the view is amazing.

The girls are comparable to Chengdu women in nature: generally shy, quiet, sweet. You will need to work to pry them open, but once you get there they'll cling to you like gorilla glue.

All Chinese love food, but in Chengdu and Chongqing the food culture is stronger than anywhere else. So if you're trying to find an in with a lass, get her to show you the local cuisine. Doesn't matter if you know every dish like the back of your hand, most Chinese will leap at the chance to educate the foreigner. Same goes for using chopsticks, let them teach you how even if you already know.

Things I have eaten on dates: fried rabbit head, pig brain hot pot, a plate of deep fried bees, scrambled eggs stir fried with tree bark.

Shanghai:

Largely the same as any other Asian megacity.

I had an on again/off again semi-girlfriend from Shanghai, but this was in Australia and she was the least Chinese girl I ever met: one time she passed me a bong full of DMT which I thought was weed, and spent the next 6500 years riding through eternity on a neon cat.

One of my current plates is a 40yo divorced lady from Shanghai. Compared to the women from Chengdu she is less down to earth, wants to be seen as worldly (this is why she is hanging out with me). That said, very classy girl, knows how to carry herself.

Many young people living in Shanghai are just there to get work experience to take back home. You may find a diamond in the rough, but many younger women born in Shanghai are stuck up and not worth your time.

However, the examples from my life are what I like about Shanghainese women: they are closer to the world at large than China. If you find the right one, she'll be much more relatable and much more independent than a girl from Xi'an.

Northeast China:

This place fuckin rules man. I did two notable trips: one to Heilongjiang to go to a wedding, and another through Inner Mongolia.

Inner Mongolia - I took one flight to Hohhot, one to Hailar, and then bussed it to Manzhouli. When I went out to explore the city, after 3 mins I walked past a retaurant and a bunch of guys flew out the door brawling, while their wives screamed out incomprehensibly. I thought to myself "I've found my place in the world." I can't remember seeing any hot women though, and from what I'm told outer Mongolia is even worse.

Heilongjiang - The buildings, the people, the feel of this place is closer to Russia than China. went to Harbin airport and got picked up for a 3-4 hour drive to a rural oil town. I drank so much I can barely remember anything that happened. At Chinese weddings there is generally an after party dinner for close friends. I went there and was sitting next to one the uncles, an old staunch looking fella with a knife cut that went from his forehead, across his eye and down his cheek. When he saw I was willing to drink heavy he told me to wait, then went to the boot of his s500 and brought back a clear unmarked bottle. I don't know what it was but I had to be carried out of the restaurant and back to the hotel.

Chinese men get unfairly stereotyped, I can say without hesitation that this is a rough and tumble part of the world, I felt like there was an underlying threat of violence coursing through the place. Like if you said the wrong thing someone would clip you around the ear for it. Honestly I wouldn't recommend going there unless you know people and are keen for something a little wild. If you just go by yourself and do touristy stuff you'll be bored out of your mind.

The ladies of the northeast are HOT HOT HOT HOT HOT, they are also the spitfire type. Something about that lights my fire like nothing else. Buddy of mine married a girl from Heilongjiang, I have known her for 10 years and still wanna bang her. Yes I am a piece of shit, but I can't help what I can't help.

So if you're harbouring fantasies about a quiet asian tradwife you are going to be severely disappointed, you should try for one further south. Men in this neck of the woods are known to be alcoholic wife beaters so the women have to arc up to get their point across. You don't need to go as rural as I went to find good women though, just touch down in Harbin and see what time it is.

Go in summer - winters are fuckin freezing (nobody wants to bang a foreigner in -20c weather).

Western China:

Unless for tourism and adventure, do not waste your time.

Southern China:

I haven't spent a lot of time here but have dated girls from Shenzhen and Guangzhou, honestly I am not a fan. They are darker, like South East Asians, which I don't really like - I prefer the leggy, angry, hard drinking wenches from the North.
