So, been seeing this girl a few times now. She says we are dating, and seems romantically inclined, but obviously too early to tell anything for both I would say.

However, i can struggle a bit with both verbal and non verbal communication or signs, in other people, due to my ADHD. That is to say, to read people effectively. I've also been in a string of bad relationships, so I'm kinda wary of bad signs, which might be real, or not real.

However, my read on my situation with my new date, is that it's going okayish. Like I said, she says we are 'dating', but that doesn't necessarily mean she is interested in a relationship. Just a decent fwb.

Me however, I'm looking for somebody for the longer term, but I can accept a fwb situation. I just like to name things for what they are, and from my experience, women are god-awful at saying things as they actually are.

Anyhow. I'm trying to read her eyes, and obviously I just like the way she looks, and also to build up the tension for a bit, so sometimes I stare at her eyes and face for a few seconds without saying much, after a kiss or so. And she stares back a little bit, the turns her head, smiles/blushes and points out what I'm doing, saying she's embarrassed.

Maybe a bad example exactly the one I just gave, but is there any takeaways to get a read in similar situations like that? I'm just curious on what to get embarrassed about, as it seems from my pov the chemistry is good. Is it because I'm being too serious too fast or something?
