Been working this girl for a few weeks now. She just moved to the area and we met through mutual friends on a hike. She's on the re-bound from a 4.5 year relationship (3 weeks), as am I (6 weeks). After the hike I got her to verbally commit to a camping trip which she bailed from. I left a VM that was probably too mushy (...ah don't worry about it, we'll do something another time..). Saw her through the social circle last night and could tell she felt awkward about it. I ignored her and made moves on other women in the group and men, inviting them to a party I'm throwing next week. At end of night I told her about it to, "yeah girl X and girl Y and guy X are coming, you should too..". She said she wanted to go hiking sooner, so we made plans for tomorrow. Predictably she just flaked via text after I called / left a VM this AM to finalize plans. Sent "Hey no worries hadn't heard back from u so made other plans. GL on school work & hope u can make it next weekend w/ GirlX/GirlY to my party". She responded w/in 2 seconds saying she'll be there. Hopefully she will and can escalate...
