So I was chatting with 3 girls in a group hanging out by the bartender. A big football-playing-looking guy came over and recognized one of the 3 girls. Out of the 3, she was definitely the least interested in me and giving off negative vibes. The guy immediately took over the conversation and talked for like 3 minutes straight. He went to demonstrate something and asked me to hold his drink for him. I just gave him an incredulous look and asked him to try it while holding the drink. He seemed to get upset about it and said something like, "Kid's attitude" or "Kids these days." I wasn't expecting something like that and was kind of taken off-guard and out of my game. He talked for a few more minutes and took the 1 girl to the dance floor while the other 2 went to the bathroom, leaving me by myself. I tried to get my composure but I was definitely rattled when the girls came back. Their tone kind of changed with me, maybe more condescendingly then before and they eventually joined the other 2 on the dance floor.

So the AMOG ended up being a total game-killer for me. Should I have done something differently and just taken the drink and not made a big deal about it? It kind of came out of nowhere, so I couldn't really prepare for it.
