Dealing with rejection

Rejection is fun as fuck. Just get out there and be comfortable. Be relentless, approach without even thinking about it. Have fun doing it and your success will increase like crazy.

Remember its all a stupid game, and the pressure you feel is just a social construct.

You could benefit from developing a positive mentality about these rejections. Actually getting rejected doesn't get you anywhere if you don't learn from the experience. I would recommend starting an interaction journal. For each interaction, take note of three things: 1. How/Why you approached 2. When did the interaction change 3. What did I learn from this interaction

When you build up enough entries you'll notice a pattern of things that keep happening and you can correct them. Don't write down what she says exactly, but try to keep more track of WHY she said what she said when she ended things. Also keep track of positive interactions, such as ones where the interaction was broken because of other circumstances (she's checking out at the store, etc)

Some people out there will try and make it in to a badge of honor, like "yeah i've been rejected over 500 times." While this does give you a win-win situation, it's not necessarily the best reaction because getting rejected isn't your actual goal, so you could become comfortable with settling for rejection instead of working towards success.

Completely separate to who you are, your technique is fucked. I can only say that because of what you've described.

A carpenter can be the best guy in the world but you're not going to fucking hire him if he can't cut a piece of wood properly. What you're going through is the same thing.

So say that carpenter is in school. When he is practicing cutting wood, does he then think, "Well one day the wood is going to accept me and love me for who I am?" That is fucking nonsense.

No. One day he is going to cut the wood correctly, and then his reputation build upon his inherent goodness (or lack thereof) will determine whether people hire him or not.
