I've gone on several dates recently where the girl invevitably asks me when was my last relsationship and why it ended. I think the reason they ask why it ended is because I usually tell the truth, which is that my last relationship lasted did years. Moreover, I was engaged, which I don't immediately reveal usually. Upon hearing this, they immediately ask why did it end? And some have even told me that they think I'm probably not ready for a relationship even though, Ive been single for almost six months. Here's the thing, they're probably right. Unless a girl is absolutely amazing in every way, I will not jump into another relationship. I'm enjoying being single too much to do that. That doesn't mean we can't hang out and see where it goes. Help me out here guys, how do I deflect?
