Stop putting women on a pedestal, these pretty girls offered you their looks, but what else? You clearly had enough going for you that made you valuable to them

I'm sure you have a lot going for you, you should be kind to yourself. Perhaps spend more time on self-improvement and go to the gym and focus on your health.

I think its important for you to try to understand why it ended. If you had an LTR, her attraction probably waned for a long while.
Did you give her enough attention, romance? Did you continue to date her after you were together so to speak? Did you take her for granted?
Or, did you become her yes man, errand boy and do everything to please her.
Also after a while, she may have been thinking is this leading towards marriage? Did she get the impression you were never going to ask?
I don't know you so I can't say. It could be she thought long and hard about it and just decided you were not the one she wanted to spend her life with. Sometimes relationships run their course and its not that you are bad or wrong. Hindsight is 20/20. Anyone can look back at the past and see what they could have done better. But what's done is done. All you can do is chalk it up to learning experience and move on.
Sad to say but she sounds like an attractive woman, they have a lot of options. She may have just gotten bored. I have an acquaintance who is smart, literally model handsome, who got dumped after 6 years for a short ugly, wild guy. Probably she got bored and he seemed more fun.
Its hard to say what if any applies to you. But consider her age too. Late 20's to 30's she is thinking about husband, security, wealth. That could factor in depending. I had a recent crush on a gal who may have been opposite. She hot, Christian girl, married young, had a couple kids. Cheats on her husband. She was probably thinking about all the fun she missed out on. All kinds of things can be relevant depending.
Do this...do blame yourself for what you did wrong...so you can grow. Then forgive yourself and move forward. Be better with the next girl.

If I had to guess my main mistake was definitely taking her for granted. Just thought she’d never leave me. I tried communicating and working on issues, but she had made her decision and didn’t try and make things work. I had also struggled with depression and anxiety which I think she decided she didn’t want to deal with anymore.
You’re right about her beauty. She was gorgeous IMO, friends and family all agreed. With the ongoing joke being how did I land her in the first place. Met her through school.
She’s the main reason behind the destructive mindset. I just feel like I’ll never do better then her in terms of personality/looks. To this day so far it has been true. All other women I’ve been with cant even come close.
It’s true that I can’t let it go. It’s been a year and I still live in the past everyday. I can’t forgive my mistakes, I can’t let go what once was. It makes looking forward so difficult as I see nothing coming close to the past. Fucking sucks man
