If you have to ask then you are not advanced enough to play those games. Jelousy plots are effective but dangerous. Just focus on creating attraction with your target and making sure her friends like you.
You can easily miss your mark and make your target think you are not interested or turn her friends agains yourself. I wouldn't go there.

Don't see how it might work. Imagine the roles are reversed. You and your guys talk to a girl, she focuses on your friend for a bit. You either get jelous or discouraged. I don't see it as a solid or viable game strategy.
