I’ve been to dozens of festivals and in my experience, girls tend to avoid guys who have an agenda. You need to ditch the mindset of having “strategies” lest you want to come across as a thirsty predator. Go with the flow and see what happens. Focus on having fun first and foremost. If something happens, great. If not, you still had a fucking blast at a music festival

Nah I wholly disagree with the “have fun and girls will come to you” advice. I tried that in college parties and it didn’t work because you have to actually talk to girls to get anywhere. It’s really passive and girls don’t approach you. Tbh the party itself isn’t that fun either if there are no prospects of meeting girls.
If I had to change your advice a bit I say have fun but also talk to girls (and guys) while having fun. If the event itself isn’t fun for you don’t go because not having fun at these events is really unattractive.

The notion that “girls don’t approach you” will always be laughable to me because if they see you, and they like what they see, they will approach you or at the VERY least make it blatantly obvious you can approach.

I commented some strategy I’ve used. but I would tend to agree with you.
They are there usually with a big group of friends and all about the good vibes.
The only type of festival where I think this could be different is a country music festival. If you can country two-step, it’s pretty easy

Just came from a music festival. Easiest thing to do is have a conversation starter.
I had refractor glasses that are all trippy when you put them on. I’d be near a girl, make eye contact while dancing and say “want to see something cool?” Then hand her the glasses to try on. Worked really well. I called them “the friend maker” cause it’s easy to make friends with them as a prop.
Another method is have something like a sticker to hand out as a gift.
There are these “You are Beautiful” stickers you can order off Amazon and I’ve seen a friend use them and get girls all up in their feelings when he hands them out

Throw that mentality out the door. Once you turn 18, and start heading into your early and mid twenties, age becomes a number my guy. Even more so in your late twenties / early thirties. As long as it’s consensual and legal, it’s fair game.

Walk around with a big smile and look for girls that are with guys and have “help me eyes”.
I can’t tell you how many girls are stuck with some Alpha Male that won’t let them leave and borderline forces them to grind on him all night.
Look like Henry Cavill?
I think you do have to ha e some sort of strategy, but don't put any pressure to it. I would write a message and my number. That is just me.
