The dynamic of the sexes is not something mechanical like a computer game, where you have to reach a certain power level to unlock new features. Human connection is different, being a good match is something deeper, something more personal, that you can't force with superficial characteristics. The bottom line is, that you don't want women, who don't want you. Every rejection leads you closer to finding someone you click with. You want to find someone, youi have a deeper connection with, so it's good to not waste time with something less just to feed your ego.

everyone gets pissed off about rejection

Understanding why....a possible explanation. Women are up for the adventure of a hook-up but may not want to actually continue it any further because they eventually have to get back to life where their social boundaries are set for them. They don't want to look slutty or be seen as promiscuous. If all she wanted was a kiss, and it fulfilled that sense of excitement for her, it would mean nothing more.
The last thing that they want is their fling dialing in on them, or sometimes trying to visit them in their actual social circle.
Something to be aware of when you get involved with women. Know this kind of rejection is more common.
