Women in their 20’s and 30’s are generally not attracted to men over 40.

Figure out why they're dating older, like are you guys broke or immature or both? I'm almost 30 and have most of my shit together and don't have any issue dating women the same age.

Depends what you call immature, but I'm pretty much a late bloomer. Had my first kiss at 22 and have almost no experience with dating. But it's not like I can go back in time to get more experience... So I need to live up to what people expect from a 26 year old man.

I'm not talking about just dating experience, more so are you settled in life like older men tend to be? How's your education/career going? Do you have any steady hobbies that you could talk about in conversation? Are you emotionally intelligent or do you still play games when it comes to texting and what not? At 26, people tend to be in a stable career and maybe looking at buying a house depending on location. Meanwhile others at 26 are still going to the clubs every night and living with 4 roommates with 0 savings whatsoever.

I'm quite a serious guy despite the lack of experience, have many hobbies, a master's degree and a stable high paying job, and live alone downtown in a capital city. I'm sure my social status is very decent.

In teens and 20s, girls/women tend to go for older guys because women tend to be somewhat more mature (puberty happens much earlier, and societal pressures force girls to grow up more quickly.) This doesn’t take into account the social clock/ life experience (when you go to school, enter the workforce, etc.) but I always felt like men my age were on average significantly less mature than myself and other women my age.
The way to solve this for yourself is to be mature, and you’re going to have to clearly show that maturity in the relationship. But you can’t fake it and put on a show because women will see right through that.
I’m sure there are plenty of women out there who are older or about the same age as you, but you might have to look a little bit harder. As you get older, the maturity/ life experience gap will start to close though.

How are you in bed? Because as a female who’s dated both older and younger men, I can tell you that more often than not, the older ones really know what they’re doing in bed, because they’ve had more experience, and been in more relationships. You’ve only dated 1 girl? One night stands don’t really count simply because it takes practice with one partner to get to know their body, what works, what doesn’t, having an open line of communication, etc.
So perception wise, women tend to generalize that older men are more mature, better in bed, and more financially stable. They don’t need to be “trained” to be a good boyfriend and lover because their exes have already done the work.
