I take most field reports and advice pieces in this sub with a grain of salt.

Most of the time the people typing these have way less figured out than they realize.

Its great to get laid and or realize something related to Fundamentals/Dating/Seduction, but most of the time these realizations are situational and anything but being one size fits all as far as advice or even being helpful goes.

There’s a reason for that. If you have everything in common, want the same things, and are both mutually excited by each other but you are so lacking in game that you don’t know how to avoid making simple mistakes that are often talked about here then there’s a good chance you’re going straight to the best friend zone.

In fact any time you see a girl say a guy was so great and perfect there was “just no romantic spark” that’s exactly what’s happened.

You need to know a little bit about what goes on, even if you’re not doing random approaches, even if you’re not using manipulative tactics. I don’t do random approaches or clubbing or any of that, there’s still a wealth of knowledge I’ve obtained over the years that absolutely applies to whether a relationship will get off the ground or stay together, authentic connections not withstanding.

I don't like traditional "dating" for this reason. It feels forced usually, and people tend to be very analytical in these situations. I like openly social venues, like live events, bazaars, festivals etc. It's really easy to talk to people and vibe out, moving into an instant date, then back to my place. The instant date is key, but realistically, it's just about spending time together. Nature tends to happen on it's own

What can one connect about with anyone If one is a complete inadequate mess socially to begin with? I mean I've come to understand that, indiferent to the rest of a guys qualities, chemistry comes from his capacity to place the one on one context of interactions on a woman's mind. This can happen sometimes effortlessly and accidentally even, when people that just vibe the same way meet. But it also can happen kind of artificially, or at least guided by what this sub teaches and discusses. So I don't agree with that we don't discuss it. In fact, it is central.

I always build a close connection via txt/social media BEFORE going on the first "date". This means they will be giving you "kissing" emotes before bed, sexting you, acting as though you are already her boyfriend, talking about how she can't wait to be cuddled up to you in bed, etc..

At the end of the day, it’s Reddit. I’ve noticed that just as many people give the worst relationship advice possible as do people give good advice. People either think you need to expand your mind to polyamory or some bullshit like that, or they think you should be so selfish and have so many boundaries that you become impossible to deal with. Reddit is great to find crazy videos, but the people giving advice on this platform are sorely lacking.
