I tried OLD intermittently for 8 years with ZERO success. Never even met a girl from OLD.
I started night club game and increases by lay count by 50% so far. Ive only been doing this for 7 months.

Your results will be around the same. Because think of it from the hot girls' perspective, they can get a 8-10 from tinder, so why would they entertain a 6-7 in real life? If you aren't cleaning up on tinder you wont get much better results in real life. I dont see how irl will boost you.

Its not that your value goes up it’s that you can make a stronger impression. However some girls do view men who approach to be higher value because of their confidence to approach to begin with.
With OLD youre restricted to people youre matched with. And then once you match, you can only make an impression via text. IRL is just far more inescapable and undeniably. With OLD she can close the app and poof youre out of sight out of mind.
Competition is higher with OLD. Far more guys on OLD than girls. And these guys swipe right on everybody.
I tried OLD for 8 years intermittently and matched with unattractive girls. Just gross looking girls. Fat whales and such. Never met or hooked up with a girl via OLD. But with night club game I now sleep with girls I would never have matched with.

OLD is way more efficient and there are some fine chicks there. Also I know girls that get offended from cold approach (low value guy).
And nah they dont care about your confidence if you ugly.
Also if you aint getting the matches you are just ugly or your profile sucks. In your case I think your profile just sucked, or you were too short.
Competition doesnt just go away because you cold approached.. There are plenty of good looking dudes cold approaching at the club, you cold approaching doesnt change your chances.
The look if your first impression. Also on OLD you can show your status, social cirlce, looks, wealth, etc..

I cant imagine OLD to be more efficient. After you match you have to text for a few days to a week and then hopefully yall both find time to meet up. Then you meet up and you gotta spend money on a date. You spend probably 3 hours on that date to maybe have sex. OLD is way more effort and time.
My profile definitely sucks but the height doesnt matter. Im picking up girls IRL with the same height.
I spend 20 hours a week at clubs and I can confidently say there are very few guys cold approaching. Theres alot of dudes choding around and will maybe talk to 2 girls the whole night. I on the other hand can approach 15 - 20 girls a night. There’s far less competition when it comes to cold approach for sure. Its not even comparable.
Whatever you can show on OLD, you can show IRL too. Wealth? You can rock that rolex or that dior jacket. You can spend $20k on the DJ table.

You're knocking on a method that you havn't even tried yet. Look, I'm not against OLD. I plan to do OLD again with a professional photoshoot and an optimized profile in the future. However, I doubt it would be more effective than cold approaching.
To just match and be like "hey come over and chill", I imagine you have to be very good looking along with a good profile. I don't think I fit the very good looking category. Most men don't and it's okay.
If you're doing well with OLD that's great but majority of men already do OLD and they struggle heavily, just like me. If OLD isn't working, then you gotta venture out to other avenues of dating.
OP is obviously not doing well on OLD so yes cold approach might be a better option for him.

Im cool if you cold approach, but I will never admit that it is more efficient than OLD.
You don’t even need to spend anything from OLD, leave the house(gas$), don’t need to spend time going out, or have long convos.
Logistically, time, and money wise, OLD is way more efficient.

The statistics clearly show that majority of women arent doing OLD.
Perhaps, OLD is more efficient for you but for the vast vast majority of men, they cant match and text a girl to come over to hook up. That’s just not realistic for probably 90% of guys. You visit these forums often, Im sure youve seen the numerous post of how 90% of men struggle with OLD.
Sure OLD can be far more efficient if you an abercrombie model. Ive seen the tinder experiments. I believe it. It just doesnt apply for the vast majority of men.

OLD is far more looks dependent than cold approach. You cant even talk to a girl unless you match. And how do you match? You attract her with your superficial qualities. Essentially you need to be good looking and have good pictures. OLD is the most superficial form of dating. You know dam well most girls will look at the first picture and decide from there. Nobody is reading bios. Nobody cares. First picture. Yes or no.
With cold approach, I dont need to match in order to talk. I can walk up to a girl and demonstrate intrinsic qualities as well. She can see my eye contact, tonality, body posture, body language, speech volume, humor, charisma, confidence, etc.
You cant deny that IRL interactions convey far more information than text can ever convey. Cold approach allows men to convey far more qualities to girls than text. Why is this important? Well how else are you gonna convince her to sleep with you?
If you can convince a girl to sleep with you over text then youre just a really good looking guy. She likes you cause of the superficial qualities cause theres no way shes getting the whole picture via text.
Value is partially based on looks, status, wealth. There are other aspects such as wit, humor, body language, posture, confidence, eye contact, etc.
Look, Im pretty good at game. I can convince girls to go home with me in person. Ive done it numerous times. But I dont see how I could convince a girl via tinder to come over and fuck even if I had an optimized profile.
You probably can if you optimized your profile. I have never seen some dude that slays hard irl and get none on OLD. Also never seen a guy slay hard on OLD and cant get shit irl that just doesnt happen.

I think you are overvaluing how much confidence, game, eye contact, etc boosts your attractiveness.
The men that do well on OLD and IRL all have similar qualities: good looking, high status, tall, in shape, etc.
