First determine if he likes you already, if he does just go over and ask him out, straight to the point. If he doesn’t, then it’s a bit of a gamble because guys are like 80% into looks 20% everything else.
Your best bet if he doesn’t like you is to become his best friend and leverage the shit out of that 20%

Well guys aren’t complicated, unlike girls we don’t play three-dimensional chess. Whatever you do keep it simple, just be nice, sometimes dorky, allow him to show off his strength: ask him to help you if you need to carry something or undo something that is stuck, compliment him occasionally… don’t overdo anything, but just for the love of god don’t play any games. And obviously ask him out sometime soon
