Give people something, they're kind of happy with it. Take it away and they lose their minds. It's called loss-aversion. There's a lot of psychology studies to confirm that our fear of loss is so high it isn't logical. When you take away attention you create the fear of loss. Loss of a pen pal, loss of attention, loss of friendship, loss of validation, loss of a potential relationship - whatever you have been giving her up to this point.

Yeah it's ridiculous. You can actually do this with something as dumb as a pencil. Sitting across from someone in conversation. Fiddle a little with it, push it their way and take back several times, eventually they'll touch it or fiddle too. When they do you take it and pick it up...their eyes will follow it and you'll actually command their attention as long as you're holding it.
It's just a fucking pencil.

Not a tactic really. Just the reality of how male - female dynamics work.

Fastest way to get someone else's attention is to remove yours.

This only works is they're already interested and have some investment. If not, they'll just forget about you and move on. A lot of women have like no attention span.

Yeah, Human Nature is wild, man. You should write a book, go study. Go see the absolute wild behavioural traits in Humans, it’s actually whacky once you see it.
It basically reduces everyone, even yourself, to an NPC and people just get easier to deal with. If you watch others but don’t watch yourself, you’ll go crazy. Trust me. You’re an NPC too, observe your behaviours and why human nature works.
Easiest way to explain it on paper is have 5 people, use 2 of them for some 1on1 examples of any form of “Give and Take” you can think of. The principle here is “Exchange”. That’s all humans do. Exchange things…it can’t be anything else because we each have different perspectives. Exchange is built into us as Humans. Exchange of Love, Respect, Help, Money, Favours.
Broadly categorize everything, you’ll see that we’re really predictable. You’ve seen one human, you’ve seen them all. We just manifest in different ways, which is why we have psychological archetypes - which are different from character archetypes, but those hold some value too
