Geez. Dissapointed people haven't moved on since these 1990s ideas... Last Minute Resistance and "Anti Slut Defence".. these terms are outdated, misguided, and somewhat disgusting nowadays. Just talk normal people, and you won't sound like misogynistic pick up artist freaks.

There could be a billion reasons why a girl doesn't want to have sex the first night.

Pregnancy
STDs
Afraid to be treated badly during sex (boundaries are not respected)
Afraid to be treated badly after sex (ghosting)

These are the most common worries. Not being seen as cheap / slutty could be a reason, but it's usually a rather low level concern compared to the reasons I stated above.

If she tells you stop, just stop. Don't escalate more. Don't act miffed about it. Just be cool. Show that you can respect her boundaries. And don't be a MeToo boundary crossing asshat that will cause her potential emotional trauma.

If she changes her mind she will begin escalating on you. The more you can show her that you respect her boundaries, and don't rush her, the more you will remove worry number 3 and 4 and then sex is more likely to happen.

That’s ASD (Anti slut defense) and it’s a good thing. It shows that she has some self control. I want to see that desire, and I want to see her fight that desire. This is a pretty good indicator that she will be less likely to cheat. It’s also a pretty good indicator that she wants more than a one night fling with you.

As much as women like to cry about double standards, they know sex for them is playing the game on easy mode with all the cheats enabled; and they know society judges them for every 🍆 in their closet.

What you need to be psychologically aware of is if she’s making rules for you like no sex for the first month or 3. It should be a spontaneous thing, not a meeting in a calendar.
