This is a technique sales people call “going negative”. Rather than try to sell her on you (thus appearing pushy or desperate and de-valuing yourself) you agree and amplify her concerns. “Maybe this isn’t a good fit for you.” Now she’s being lightly pushed away and to feel balanced she pushes back. She’ll start to talk herself into the relationship instead of talking herself out of it.
Be aware that there may be more going on than you know. She may have found someone she liked better, started pushing you away, then things didn’t pan out and she came back. It’s possible she was going to act this way regardless of what you did. But your technique was good overall. People like to buy things, but they don’t like to be sold on things. The same applies to relationships.

No this year. All after a relationship I had that ended in July. Definitely my best year. 30s aren’t so bad
