Well to tell you the truth I'm just offended that he would try that with me, especially because he is so much older and probably thinks I am an easy target. I know it's petty but I want him to see that I'm not stupid like he thought. Also he hasn't said anything that is clearly inappropriate so it's not like I can report it or anything like that

When he tries to "neg" you, go into a 5 minute explanation of how you agree about (whatever he insulted you about) & how your mom has the same issue and you cry about it with her and then how you tell your friends and they cry about it too1 cause they have it. Go on and on.
He'll have no magic trick to stop this and run.
