I will say though, you want a girl at all times.
It makes you seem more desirable. Then use that chick to make others interested.

Usually in high school you focus on building yourself up and more on social circle game for most part.. Think in those type of terms..

Daygame is more associated with street game and meeting girls in public spaces. What you're more wanting is social circle and warm circle game.
Trust me, you don't want to be known as the weird pick up guy 20 years later at your reunion that just used to try and hit on every girl he could.
Have a conversation with them, add them as a friend on Snap or Insta and then maybe ask them out.
It's also highly risky as you have a reputation to uphold.
