I’ve made lots of my female friends from intern work, class, dating apps, and other interest groups. Just be cool. Girls are definitely down to have guy friends. Just put it on the table you’re interested in being friends. If you are really looking to test the waters you could always attend some LGBTQ events and it may be possible to make friends with some gay women which also has its own greater benefits

Hmm that’s a hard one. I usually try to weed those ones out with some basic small talk leading up to a meetup (coffee, museum, university library). Then just try and be friendly. I have pretty good successes on apps though. It’s fairly easy to match and set up a date when I’m bored and that usually ends up with something happening either hooking up, dating, or just platonic

Kinda sad to see that there are men/women who are open towards friendships with the other sex, but can't find it easily because most of the people are too sex-driven etc. Appreciate your open mind, there are way too many people thinking it can't work, didn't consider that's more a personality problem
