If she has explicitly said she wants a relationship with you. Then yes you should be up front.
If she simply wants a relationship with anyone. It doesn’t hurt to ask. Some people are willing to do fwb until they find a long term partner.

Might be best to avoid that term, cause it could trigger a defensive reaction. I usually just say I’m currently working on myself and not looking for a relationship but I’m down to make out if you want.

While that's not a bad suggestion tho, most girls will see right through it. "I'm not looking for a relationship" is definitely a fuckboy kinda thing to say lol(in her eyes). I think you should be upfront with her and just say it. It's like asking her out again, if she says no, you gotta move on
