I bet your texting isn't "shit" when you text your mates. She wants more of your attention that is why she wants to text even though you see her everyday. Don't make it a big deal as you already have. Don't only text to establish dates, that's terrible advice. Girls gotta feel comfortable enough to meet you or else they'll just flake. You build that comfort through text, or a facetime/call if you prefer that.

Yes it is better to talk in person when available. However, it doesn’t mean you shouldn’t call or text when they text you or call you, just don’t let it eat up your time. A VERY easy way to make sure it doesn’t, make sure you have something going on later when she does text or call so you have a reason to leave and not get sucked in the trap of getting ghosted for being too available, I see that one happen a lot.
If she wanna text, maybe shoot back a text saying “how bout you call me instead, pussy”, something like that. “Too Chicken to call me, you gotta ask me to text?”. Playful, little teasing, still texts her back and does as she asks while maintaining a frame of dominance by not just giving in to conversation. Girl’s are like witches bro, and not the scary kind. The hot kind, with mind control spells and shit, and they just do it by a flick of their finger if you’re not aware of it. So play along, but you gotta offer a tad bit of resistance, and escape routes for yourself. Don’t focus too much on that, but if you find yourself losing focus, you gotta. If only to ground yourself again and remain unhorny until YOU decide to be horny. Think with the head on your shoulders, not the head betwixt your legs
