What could android users do? I don't have iMessage so the only way I can contact her number is over WhatsApp, telegram or straight up call her which is definitely a no no.

Yeah Snapchat is awesome tbh idk why you are avoiding it. It's nice because it's more casual, don't know how to respond to something you can just send a picture instead. But again, why don't you just text if that's all you're looking to do?

I think I'll try Snapchat then. I have never used text (SMS) as a means of communicating with anyone because it feels so old fashioned lol. Everybody uses WhatsApp or telegram or social media.
