Are you actually talking to them, or just getting the numbers and leaving? You should be building a rapport with them, and letting them know you would like to talk with them more over coffee or a drink later.

it is much better to go on an insta date
they may have nejoyed talking to you but bit wanted to take it further.
probably they were into you, you left, their state changed, you texted and they are like "idk he's a stranger" and did not reply

This happens when you're a beginner.

Her being friendly+ you being sexually attracted to her does not equal her being sexually attracted to you.

Keep going at it, show interest to screen out girls who aren't interested in you, and chat a tiny bit after the number to solidify it a little. It gets better.

I'm actually talking to them aND building rapport but it's not the best rapport. I leave when I run out of things to say or feel like it's a high moment to leave.

You need to make an impression or those numbers wont convert. The longer the interaction the better. The more venue changes the better
