It's a little less strict for girls, and they tend to care less. I hooked up with two of my friend's exes and they didn't seem to care. But if it does come up, don't consider it a big deal. Stay firm on the stance that you don't care and that the sex is purely physiological and everyone does it. The topic usually tends to drop quickly once you frame it in that sense. And don't do it unless you're absolutely sure the relationship is over and you really don't care what else happens from it.

I don't know about that doing anything we want, I guess we take certain factors into the equation, like how serious and long the relationship lasted, how long ago the relationship was, how long you've known the guy, stuff like that. I fucked a friend's ex 1 time, but they had dated 2 months and it wasn't serious, about a year after they broke up, and had known the guy a few years before she did. She wasn't happy about it, but she wasn't mad. If it had been a week after they broke up, she'd be more than pissed. I thought guys would think about it the same way, but I guess I don't know. Factor everything in I guess
yea as with anything in life we just take as much into account for the situation and make the best decision we can. so anytime someone sleeps with a friends ex or however you want to phrase it, its just its own special case. no 'rules' can really apply. just general guidelines and thats about it.
