Martial Arts to boost your confidence via comfort in the worst case scenario. Try doing one used in MMA like Muay Thai, Boxing, BJJ, or Wrestling. Or just go to an MMA school because there are two types of fears associated with fighting, the fear of getting the crap kicked out of you and the fear of kicking the crap out of someone else.
Let me elaborate on the second one. Most of the time when you get into an altercation you're in a social setting where any violence just messes up the whole mood and even if you're just defending yourself you run the risk of looking like the bad guy. The problem with traditional martial arts or things like Krav Maga is that they typically teach you to respond to violence with violence. But with the styles involved in MMA, especially the grappling arts you have the option to just defend and hold someone in a clinch or the ground until they chill out. Even boxing has clinches, as Floyd Mayweather always demonstrates when he hugs his opponent (lol). Nobody gets knocked the fuck out or bloody, you can actually de-escalate and maintain the mood of the environment you're in.

Those are good hobbies, but don't require you to leave your home. You need a social hobby that gets you out of your house and forces you to interact with people.

Those are pretty great if you ask me. The top 3 in that list (in my opinion) would be cooking, piano, and working out since they are the most attractive hobbies. I'd also recommend drawing and reading books if thats something you'd consider.

Great recommendations! If you don't mind me asking, what are YOU into? What do you enjoy for fun??

Well to be completely honest with you I always switch around. For example, I started reading a book called "American Kingpin" which is somewhat long. After I finish reading the book, i'll most likely start investing my time in something else like drawing. Once I finish a complete drawing i'll move on to trying to learn a piano song. I can never stick to one hobby for some reason which is probably why im not great at any haha. I always go back to the same hobbies though so think of it as a cycle: reading, drawing, music, boxing. Its fun for me since im constantly changing it up so I dont get bored of one specific thing.

I totally understand. Dabbling in a lot of different things is really fun. I’m not sure if I have much time to read anymore though! I used to have a front desk job as a receptionist but that’s long gone. Now I can’t just read at work! I DO need to pick up a book though. You’re totally right on that
