But when the bus stoped and some guy started a drama with the ticket checking guy, i commented about it to the girl
Nice. The only time I tend to have good opens that aren't awkward are like this, when something luckily happens in the environment for me to comment on to her

Instead of waiting for something to happen, look for any incongruity, including if she's really well dressed (you can tease: "I guess you didn't get the memo on casual day", compliment: "wow, you are really put together, do you work in fashion?", yawns ("stop it or you'll get all of us started", "wow, I haven't even spoken and I'm boring you already", "partied too much last night?"), has something crazy on her purse ("you must really be a fan of X", I opened a chick at the airport one time because she had a huge cat on her purse. Turns out she was a zoo keeper, and the fact that I'd been on safari and seen hyena, her obsession, kept a conversation going for at least an hour).
Just look for anything out of place, or way too congruent. This can even be if your shirt color matches hers, or something similar.

oh, don't get me wrong. I actually do this sort of stuff all the time, but there's no getting away from the fact that the chances of the open 'working' (and her actually attempting to invest a tiny bit rather than just nodding or giving me the shortest reply possible) increase a fair bit on the rare occasion where something out of the ordinary is happening in the environment that I comment on. I guess maybe it takes the pressure off her a little for one. (since it's not about her?)

The problem is you're looking for a certain result, don't. I'm a smartass by nature. I'm going to make a comment regardless. Sometimes the target (doesnt have to be a woman, I ran into a billionaire on the street this weekend and was making smartass comments), will laugh, sometimes people around will laugh, sometimes it falls flat. Try just making observations regardless of what happens.

definetely i was lucky. If not this i would be going to sleep today still as a looser, not as a winner. Haha

Do yourself a favor. Let her decide if she likes you or not. It sounds like you felt awkward... and she gave you her number and told you where she lived anyway. Call her and be less awkward. Give yourself the benefit of the doubt, assume attraction.

true man. Thanks for the advice!

here's something that i have been applying:... because we all feel awkward.
but if we act nervous or awkward infront of the girl (or anyone for that matter) - it's simply not attractive
girls don't want you to put them on a pedestal (and those that do have serious issues) - the real down to the earth ones don't require this.
just treat her like one of the brothers; and maybe when you are braver, you can show more sexual intent... but you gotta build up to this

Focus on yourself and not the girls. Losers won’t even try.

It was luck but you stillcmade a comment that not everyone would and progressed it, be proud of yourself

But you still took action. It was you, putting things in motions. Be proud and continue doing it! We are so judgemental to ourselves, me too, but sometimes you gotta bring yourself up and congratulate yourself!

Also, your university will appreciate it if you learn the difference between looser and loser.
