You're thinking is complex because you're unsure. If you can hold hands, there's a shared understanding that you like each other
Once you know she likes you, you can let go of complicated thoughts
My wing also talked and thought in game terminology like you, it's fragmented. I remember him holding hands with a girl and yet still doing all these game things. He was looking for the indicator that she likes him for him to take the lead but women are never going to take that risk and do something overt.
