[28 M] here! Lately I’ve been texting one of my coworkers who’s (27 F) outside of work about stuff that we both like since we have a lot in common whether it’s gaming, music, tv shows etc... However, the conversation has become a bit stale to the point where i receive text messages from her once every few days And most of the time the conversation is short and not really engaging . I’m not sure if I did something wrong or if maybe shes not into texting as much or maybe she’s busy? anyways I’m trying to escalate the conversation from texting to eventually setting up a date, but I’m not sure how to start and it’s kinda of frustrating! I don’t really double text or blow up her phone if she’s not responding but you get that gut feeling that maybe she’s not interested...?! My question is, are there any unspoken/hidden rules for texting women? (Only reason why I ask because I feel like there is and NOONE tells you) And if so, how can I escalate the conversation from texting to setting up that first date... like is there an art to this? I’m new at dating so I’m just trying to gather whatever advice I can get from both sexes. Thanks for listening!
