Why the huge gap between the first meet up and second meet up?
[–]Prideful_Armenian 0 points1 point2 points 6 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
I honestly don't know. I see her everyday because we are from same school. We talk a lot in school so maybe thats the reason

Ah gotcha that adds more context. In that case yeah I would probably just move on but I'm proud of you for giving the effort and having a good mentality in the end

I thought that she liked me because she always is touching me, making the convo first and writes from time to time. Also she likes to tease me a lot. But she was just being friendly I guess. I will write tommorow that I won't be hurt if she just told me that she is not intersted.

Eh maybe is a pretty weak answer, I'd give her some light by just replying with something like "lol ok" and then move on, it's not worth an extended response.

Say something like "Maybe you should say yes"
And then: "let's do something else if you say no. Pinball arcade"
Don't get butt hurt if she says no. You just asked friend type stuff so you wouldn't get mad if your friend said no, you'd just try to reschedule and tell them they're boring if they never come out

Sounds like you let it cool off too much with the big gap.
It's like a fire, you've got to keep blowing the flames and building that fire, especially in those early days.
Just let her see you living life, having fun without her, perusing your passions and if she's still interested, it will be fine.
I'd also recommend not following up with any kind of "Well what does maybe mean" kind of submissive/seeking permission behavior. Just go with "Hey, so you didnt give me an answer last time. Do you want to go out again .... maybe next time we can do XYZ?"

I will write her tommorow that it is okay that she is not interested in meeting me, Im not a small child. I wont be mad because it is her life she can do whatever she wants for her sake. I still will be friendly to her ( wont ignore in public places or insult her ) I will just move on and live my life.

1) Why write her? I'd recommend speaking face to face
2) Why not follow up and ask for a definitive answer?
Women always have multiple guys interested in them. What are you doing to separate yourself from all the others? Maybe she is looking for that one guy who doesn't quit immediately.
I definitely don't mean this to sound unkind but your response comes across as very submissive.
If you think you've already lost her, what do you have to lose by asking her outright? Just do it with confidence, like she wasnt clear last time and you deserve a clear answer. It's about self respect.

Just be a man about it. Do the right thing. She blew it with YOU. C’mon. Go out and talk to five other women, move on. Phshh! She told you “maybe”? Have some self respect and get out there. YOU deserve more! Good luck!
You are totally right !

It might not even mean no.
Give her space. Let her know, very clearly, that you are attracted to her and would like to meet up with her for dinner or something.
But acknowledge the maybe. Adapt to it. Instead of seeing it as an obstacle, look at it from her pov. She's hesitant about something, maybe she's short in time for the week. Give her power. Tell her to think it over and get back to you.
The most successful men I have seen have very little ego. They are open and inviting. Approachable. But they aren't pushovers. State your intentions, respect her time, space, and feelings. If she agrees: spectacular! If she says no: then thank her for taking the time to consider and for her honesty and move.
I wont waste time on ger anymore. Yeah sure I like her but I have other girls that i like less but atleast value my effort !
