I’m a female and I agree with your mindset. As long as everyone is enjoying themselves, why can’t that be enough? I guess if years pass and it’s going nowhere, you can let go or they can. As I’ve matured a bit, I find this mindset to work for me as well

If you don’t grip yourself you’ll come across as needy or desperate. You either have that relaxed mindset I’m talking about or you have to tell yourself that this happens all the time and it doesn’t bother you.

Is sex drive the same as emotions though? What I do is I have casual relationships which lead to sex but no attachment. That makes it easy to keep emotions in check.
