I've been going out more recently and seen improvement. I can have good interactions with girls, get kisses/numbers, etc.

But I feel like I'm struggling to get girls to connect with me more right off the bat. I've found girls being interested in me a lot at first then cooling off if we don't see each other for a little bit in between.

I know everyone's gonna say "oh well if she really liked you that much she wouldn't cool off."

I guess that's my question then. How do you develop that emotional connection to a girl who you meet at the bar for an hour, or who you go on one date with, so that she'll be that into you. As opposed to just getting her to like you for the time being and then maybe be interested in seeing you again but not dying to.
