In the last week two times I've had women give me the old 'hand on the shoulder when leaving my office', and 'tap your leg / grab your arm repeatedly while laughing at my joke'. Both women are married, and it kind of is throwing me off. I've had a million women *not* touch me when I make a joke, or they leave my office. It makes me think that the kino build / assuming small touches == IOU's is woman by woman specific.
The one woman at work is someone I've known for a while, and I'm pretty sure knows I think she's cute as hell. I hadn't seen her in months, and seemingly suddenly she's a lot more friendly with me than previously. I sure as shit have never touched her hand/shoulder/anything before.
The other was a dental hygienist, who was also super fucking cute. I've never had her before, but she was laughing at anything I said from damn near hello. Hahahaha, touch, hahahah, touchy touchy. I was about to ask her out when I noticed she had one of those weird rubber bands on her finger for people who work with their hands and can't shove a diamond into someones mouth.
But again, I've had my teeth cleaned a hundred times by women, and none of them touched my leg and arm.
I've been working on my confidence and assuming attraction, but this feels like a false flag to me.
