Direct vs. Indirect

Honest question, what is indirect approach and how does that work ?

I always go direct game. Yeah, it's a little more forward but your intentions are clear cut and to be honest, most girls don't get people who go up to them directly and tell them theyre pretty (at least in my experience) so it really boosts your chances a bit. (Kinda stuns them and they lower their guard a bit)

But again, it's dependent on each person's style of pickup. I'm more comfortable with direct and the next guy might not be.

This thread is reborn at least once or twice a month. ;)

Sasha has a great method of going direct, but I feel it only suits people of a certain personality, a person who truly accentuates the cocky-funny type while exuding self-confidence.

FWIW, I agree. Many ways you could go "direct," are more suitable to certain personalities, while others may take more to a James Marshall style that's still confident but more low key.

What do you guys think? I feel it would be more suitable to vary between direct or indirect depending on the situation (cafe vs club) and not always going direct/indirect.

As you wish, really. Calibration can and should be happening to suit a few things:

The overall situation: obviously clubs and cafes are going to have different rules of the road.
The state of the girl.
Your own state and what you want. If you aren't in the mood to go clubbing, do something else. Just so long as you can be honest enough with yourself to know that you're not avoiding an activity you would enjoy, simply out of fear.

Sasha is not a good role model, IMO.

I think you hit the nail on the head when you said the best type is based on context. In a club, direct, because she knows what's up anyway. In other environments, like maybe a cafe, or queue at a shop, indirect my be more discreet and therefore more appropriate.
