In the past, I've experienced a few times where a girl has been really excited and interested in me over the course of a date or two, only to lose interest AFTER sex. This is uncommon, though have found it was generally when I wasn't on my A-game in bed.

What I'm wondering is, once you've become a known to a woman and she now has impression of how skilled you are in the bedroom, no matter how wrong that may be, is there any way to come back from it?

Can you even pique a girls interest after that or will she forever assume that's just how you are?

I don't think I've seen many posts here about the importance of first-time sexual encounters in building/maintaining attraction.
