Do you need to warm up?

If you're comfortable giving compliments, chatting and teasing with your family and friends then it's not such a big deal to do it with a beautiful girl. Your warmup is, every day with everyone you meet you're a sociable person who expresses himself honestly in a friendly way.

Dividing the world between "hot babes" and "everyone else" is a big mistake IMHO.

I tend to do better after warming up so it’s not a bad idea. The first girl you ask out will tend to be your worst set. I don’t know how bad your approach anxiety is but if you can I would recommend introducing yourself and talking for a bit and then asking for a number instead of just asking for directions.

1) Saying to a girl she’s cute gives a lot of power away and insta puts her on a pedestal.

2) Puts a lot of pressure on her rather quickly to decide whether she’s into you or not.

I’m usually not dropping such compliments until I’m a few minutes into the interaction, and even then it’s a push pull. One I used on a girl at work was, “ You’re cute, but also sweaty” lol.

As for warming up, fuck. I guess it at least gets the right parts of the brain going, but anxiety is anxiety. I either push through it or I don’t. I find being confident in my opener has helped a lot.
