For real though, I’ve met a bunch of people who just ask if my group of friends wants to join up with their group to play a friendly game.

There are a couple "beach daygame" videos out there. None of them seem to close but they're good examples to watch. It's only game in the broadest sense, not much more game-y than the guys who sell sunglasses or walk around with a monkey IMHO.

There are better examples of evening beach party infields. Federico Bellavita has a couple, one with a super nice Brazilian and one with a fairly crazy Australian girl. It's more like bar game by the sea not beach game but the vibe is nice. EDIT: the approach was, they threw him IOIs and he stopped and said hi.

Saw my best friend number close a HB9 on a beach once. Dude was absolutely hammered but approached, bantered, got her number in less than a minute. Staggered back to where I was sitting said, "her number is ###-#### don't forget!!!" and passed out.

Breakdown: he was short, but buff and looked a bit like Tom Cruise. Utterly confident and fearless especially when drunk and never gave two fucks over rejections because his frame was so strong. He was spinning several plates. Had his life and career sorted out and it showed. He remembered this girl's number (!) she became booty call #3 for him. So for his entire last year of college he didn't game at all, he just drove to these 3 girls' towns to pick them up and brought them to his house in the student ghetto. That was his Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights for September to April.
