I don't think seduction / game goes away after you're hitched. It becomes a smaller piece of the pie, sure, because the pie gets bigger, but I'm very much aware that if I want my marriage to be amazing, I have to keep gaming.

I recently got married (less than two months ago), and my game has dropped severely off. Married game seems to be a little different, but I'm still working out how. These are my very first thoughts on the problems posed by marriage for game:

  1. making her realize she still has to make an effort matters more, since many people will just assume that they don't once they get married

  2. you have to pay even more attention to maintaining a 'frame' so that when you set standards and expectations for your relationship (maintaining this frame can be harder to do all the time--living together/married--when it's not 100% you yet)

  3. you have to be even more careful and subtle about sending the message that yes, you might leave if your relationship isn't fulfilling. This should be obvious because you have to balance it with the fact that you intend to have a lifelong commitment; you really don't want to ever leave her, and marrying her signals that.

I see very little about game that pertains to married couples specifically. Do you have any recommended resources?
