I know I shouldn’t just be putting this out in the open but I really can’t find any material or source that can answer this question.

You really haven't divulged a hidden PUA secret. The modus operandi of fake gurus since PUA started has been to use "science" words to make the gullible think they know what they're talking about.

I had to look this term up (This was the best article on the subject I was able to find.), and if I understand it correctly, it's basically a theory that states that repeatedly imposing and removing a state over the course of a conversation makes the subsequent returns of that state progressively stronger, yes? I don't know that the returning state is always stronger, what seems to be the case to me is that it is more familiar and more definitive of the interaction, undermining further resistance to it. Regardless, though, this definitely works on men.

Ever put something in front of a kid like hey " take it" Then they try just because it's out there and you pull it away and then put it back and before long they try pretty hard to get it....yeah, works on everyone. Problem is you have no idea how many times you can do it before they give up/ go full resistance instead of trying hard enough to get a result......and when that happens you are 100 percent done, there's no coming back and you've actually created a repulsion to the idea.
