Does having Cerebral Palsy matter?

I don't know where I go wrong. I try to show sense of humor about my CP because it's not going away. Jesus isn't healing it, and with today's medicine I can't get anything super cool/more useful then Raptor arm. I guess the jokes don't translate well to the opposite sex. I mean when I do stand up comedy the people laugh, but in personal situations girls seem to mistake it for low self esteem.

And my friends actually hurt me. They are terrible wing men on purpose. Like this one time I was at the bar and I was offering this cute chick I know a ride home because her boyfriend left her there or some shit like that...anyway my friend comes up and was like "don't worry, you're safe with him. he can't rape you!" and I'm like dude wtf? And all he says his "what? that was funny. you have to admit the was funny right?" So I'm afraid to even talk to girls when this friend is around just because of the crazy shit he says for laughs.

Overall I don't really care if my friends make cripple jokes. Sometimes they say really funny things I didn't think of that I can use as stand up material. But when they just sabotage me like this I get frustrated. They know I'm terrible with women, so I was hoping that they'd actually help me. Any specific advice from the ladies? Like where do the women who have cripple fetishes hang out? do women even have that?

OK, here's a little more information. I have a mild form of CP. I can walk, but I slur and my right arm is gimpy. I affectionately call it Raptor Arm. I only know three things about my Cerebral Palsy: 1) Its not contagious, which honestly I am a little sad about. 2) It's not going to get worse. Raptor arm isn't going to fall off, or anything like that, though I think that might be the only way Raptor arm could get worse. 3) Cerebral Palsy is not genetic so I can't pass it on to any children I spawn.

Other then that I really don't feel the need to learn more about it. I'm looking for help from seddit to figure out whats going wrong. I've never really had a girlfriend and don't get dates much. I might get a 1st date, but rarely a 2nd or more.

I don't know how to talk to women. I'm a little shy and don't know how to start conversations or maintain them. Hell, I don't even know where to go to meet them. I don't drink, so that rules out bars. And my friends are little to no help to me in this situation. I don't know what other details would be helpful so just ask and I will answer.

I don't think it matters... I've had two girls I'm dating also have CP exes or currently dating them alongside me.

Both guys were alcoholics, I heard them complain about that a ton, but not about the actual CP.

nope. it doesn't matter at all. just because you have XYZ ailment doesn't and shouldn't exclude you from gaming it up.

instead of making jokes about it, women actually might be interested to know about it; throw out a couple of cool factoids about CP.

now, i myself don't know much about CP, but kino (the physical part of all this) is a big thing; that's holding her hand, touching her shoulder, small of her back etc. if CP makes this difficult, you might want to practice this or try to work around it as it is a major part of pickup.

other than that, your post was pretty general; if you could add more facts about what seddit can help with, i'm sure we can help you out there

it will help you weed out the shallow personalities, so it might actually turn out to be an advantage. that is, once you work your game correctly.

I don't go out of my way to make cripple jokes. Though I think the bigger problem is I'm an idiot when it comes to the ladies. I have no idea to talk to them I say hi and then my mind goes blank and I can't think of anything else to say.
