I feel it’s safer not to try it. It could end up a sexual harassment issue. You can’t kiss people without their consent. No matter how much you like them.

It might be acceptable only in some conditions like you both are super close and you know that he/she is open for a relationship with you. If you not sure about these things then destroy your thoughts immediately with a large brick and go to sleep.

It's a cowardly way to seek confirmation. One person has to be kissed before ever deciding if it's acceptable, just so the other person's ego was sheltered? Why bother with any consent at all, if that's acceptable to you?

She can't say no, if she's bound and gagged in your basement!

So maybe accept that everyone can tell you no at any time and accept those consequences. Don't look for ways to save your ego at the cost of trespassing on another's agency.

Please don’t do this. Grand gestures of affection are appreciated when they’re earned and desired, which will usually only happen well into a relationship.

Study some basic kino videos on YouTube and go for the slow burn instead of the volcanic explosion.

This is not the way to go. If you like someone, just tell them. Build up your sexual frame too so she starts seeing you sexually and not just as a friend.
