Basically just don't machine gun your words out. And keep your tone low. The faster you talk typically the higher pitched your voice is and the less masculine it sounds. Don't talk like a mentally deficient person, but make your sentences and cadence calm and deliberate.

Yeah it works. Speaking quickly sounds tryhard, like you are trying to blurt it all out before they stop listening to you. Speaking slower, with pauses, assumes they are hanging on your every word.

Read that aloud twice. The first time. Get it out as fast as possible. The second, make it take ten seconds. Which sounds better to you?
