Everything in moderation. As you noted it can be seen as clingy. I say you dont do any cute shit but youre gonna do it anyways.
A good ratio is 3 to 1. You give 1 xyz for every 3 xyz.
It cant be a 1:1 ratio simply because she'll stop appreciating it. Scarcity creates value.

Exactly this. Make her work for anything you give.

What do you mean exactly to make her work for it?

She has to give back to show that she cares. Otherwise you'll get taken advantage of

Imagine your favorite food. Now imagine you had it 3 times a day 7 times a week. I imagine that wouldnt be your favorite food anymore?
Basically same concept. If you spoil your girl too much she wont appriecate it and take you for granted.

Orzhov has is on to something there. 2:1, or 3:1 should be a good ratio.
Don't listen to Illimitable, guy sound like an asshate!
You already said it, you don't want to come off as clingy But you also don't want to come off as cold and distant. Giving her something she likes if she's having a bad day or sick is always a nice gesture as long as it's not too extravagant.

Do it. In small considerate ways. Don't count the surprises like some suggest. Everyone have different love languages and she might make an effort and show appreciation in other ways than you do.

I’m at the same stage with a guy, seen him twice (for nearly 24 hours each time) and been texting for weeks and while I do enjoy when he shows me affection or support that is unusual for someone you haven’t known that long, I would not appreciate him showing up unannounced or buying me something as a surprise. It’s just too much in my opinion, because I do not develop feelings that quickly and it would just make me feel pressured. I of course can’t speak for the girl you’re seeing, maybe she’s different, but in my experience it can backfire to the point that she breaks it off because you’re coming on too strong.

Have you guys kissed/cuddle or anything?
[–]Confidenceisbetter 0 points1 point2 points 5 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Yes we cuddled on the first date already and on the second we kissed

I wouldn't buy her anything yet.
But if she's having a bad day, you can recommend getting some drinks or watching a movie to cheer her up.
