Watch this video. This was posted last week in a comment in this post written by u/ThrowingAwayA, and it was a beautiful piece about embracing the fear/anxiety you feel and turning it into confidence and power.

See the fear for what it really is. Yes, fear can be healthy sometimes, when it keeps us from starting a fight with a bear, or jumping out of a plane with nothing but our socks on, but as far as it goes with things like approaching women, kissing them, standing up to their shit tests...you know, everything we talk about on seddit...it does more bad than good.

TL;DR: Go after what you want. Feel the fear, know that it means you are on the edge of becoming something greater than what you are, and turn it into excitement that fuels you through any hardship or challenge. Mediocrity is always based on not taking chances.
