So I just want to make a post about an attitude adjustment that I've put myself through lately, and it's all thanks to Mitt Romney. Let me explain:

When Mitt Romney lost, he didn't have a concession speech prepared. He was so fucking confident that he was going to win, the thought of losing didn't cross his mind. Let me repeat that, he was so fucking confident, that he didn't even prepare for the fact that he would have to give a concession speech in front of the entire world.

So if Mitt's not worried about that, then you have no reason when asking a girl out to prepare for any scenario except for that girl saying yes.

You should be so confident, that the thought of her saying no is not an option. It's something that doesn't cross your mind. If you display that kind of confidence, it'll radiate through every part of your body and through everything you say. And she'll see it.

By already having a prepared answer to the "No" scenario, you're going in expecting defeat. Never, ever, expect defeat. And the worst case scenario will never be as bad as having to give a concession speech in front of millions of people.
